van 1889 tot 1974: Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Reformed church in Orange City at 10 A.M. November 14 for Mrs. Ben G. Nibbelink, 85, of Orange City, who died at the Orange City hospital November 11 after a brief illness.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. John Hellinga and burial will be in West Lawn cemetery at Orange City.
Mrs. Nibbelink the former Tillie Hoekstra, was born May 30, 1889 in The Netherlands. She came to the U.S. in 1908.
She was married in 1920. The couple farmed northwest of Orange City for many years. Mr. Nibbelink died in April of 1944.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dick (Theresia) Mulder and Mrs. Andy (Wilmina) Van Dyk, both of Orange City; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Van Klompenburg of Orange City, Mrs. Alice Vander Muelen of Sanborn and Mrs. Martha Gesink of Denver; two brothers, Jake of Orange City and Cornie of Boyden. bron: Sioux Center News van 13-11-1974.
