| Begraven-notitie: | Larry Dale Kooistra, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at his home. He was retired from General Motors and a navy veteran. Larry loved the outdoors and was always up for an adventure. He was a lifetime HOG member, as well as an avid model railroader. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Sydney and Joanne Kooistra. [1925]
Larry is survived by
his loving wife, Amy Kooistra;
children, Kristin Kooistra Meringa, Stephen (Sharrell) Kooistra; grandchildren, Allory Roberts, Lucas Meringa, Lily Meringa, Sydney and Noah Kooistra; brothers, Ken (Bev) Kooistra, Lee (Dawn) Kooistra; sisters, LInda (Keith) Brew; many nieces and nephews. As Larry had wished, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Beuschel Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18 from 2-4 pm. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Larryâ??s honor to Harbor Hospice. |
