1962 : Bert Cole, 85, dies in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter F. Healy, route 1, Holland, this morning following an illness of three months.
Mr. Cole was born in the Netherlands and came to theis community in 1904. He made his home with the Healys for the past 30 years.
Surviving are a brother, Simon, of Manhattan, Mont.; a half-sister Mrs. E. Vander Meer of Wenatchee, Wash.; two half-brothers, Lucas Cole of Los Angeles, Calif., and Rijn Kool in the Netherlands.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Nibbelink-Notier Capel with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Saugatuck.
