Phyllis Grace Beaumont, nee Newell, 86, of Shiloh, Ill., born Feb. 18, 1928, in Whitinsville, Mass., passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Cedarhurst of Shiloh, Ill. Phyllis retired from an electronics company where she had worked in quality control. She moved to O’Fallon, Ill., in 1995 to be near her sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Skip" Beaumont; and her parents, Roland and Sadie, nee Postma, Newell. Surviving are her dear sister, Shirley Markee of O’Fallon, Ill.; her step-daughter, Kim (David) Harris of N. Scituate, R.I.; and two step-grandchildren, Jessica and Josh. Condolences may be extended to the family by visiting www.wfh-ofallon.com . Funeral: Funeral services will be held at her hometown of Greenville, Rhode Island. Interment will be at Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet, Rhode Island.
