2016 : Warren Kroll departed this life peacefully on April 29, 2016 to be with loved ones who predeceased him. He was a longtime resident of Springfield before moving to Portland ME then returning to MA to Bluebird Estates in East Longmeadow.
In addition to his loving wife of 62 years Barbara, he joins his 2 brothers, parents and several very special relatives. His is survived by his sister of CA, his 3 sons and his daughter. He also leaves behind his 5 granddaughters, as well as 4 greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws and a network of loving people who cared for him over the last 2 years.
He found joy each day and simple things made him happy. A man of strong faith, he was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Springfield. He loved people, ice cream (working at Friendly’s for more than 25 years) and singing, but above all, his family was the most important thing to him. To every person who helped care for Warren, the family expresses their gratitude. You all made a difference to his world and ours.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 4-8PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 6th at 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Ave, Springfield. bron: FindAGrave
